What to Look for in a Used Loader or Skidder
Does it run? If it has been setting, even diesel fuel can go bad over time. Bring some fresh fuel in a clean can and run a hose and return hose down into the can. Bring a good battery, or make sure it has one that is charged well. The speed of the crank turning has a big deal to do with starting.
Tires should be good enough to use. Unless you are buying based on knowing you need to shell out for new tires
Hydraulic oil? Make sure the oil is mostly full in the reservoir. Also, look for leaks around the rod ends of the cylinders, and all the hoses.
